The HVLP paint
spray process reduces overspray significantly compared to conventional
air spray guns that need a compressor and allows accurate placement
of just the right amount of paint with a minimum of fuss.
This sprayer
conveniently come with it's own air supply (you don't need a compressor).
They work best with light bodied paints, stains and enamels. (They
are in common use now for the spray application of fake tans.) Although
they can spray water based paints they are not recommended for this
purpose unless the paint is reasonably thin. Airless cup guns are
more suited for spraying un-thinned water base paints.
Air is supplied
by an electric motor/turbine through a large diameter hose to the
spray gun. This equipment is sold with gun, hose and turbine - ready
to go. |
